Food was reasonably good, as was service, but not outstanding. Venue was quite small and very loud. BYOB under $100 per couple, appetizer, entree, desert.

Enjoyable meal. Authentic food. Really nice people.

Food and great atmosphere

Food here is delicious and staff is very friendly. I was very satisfied and be back again. If I may suggest a waitress to you all, please try Elizabeth we had her very good waitress.

Good food but could use a larger menu.

First time going for lunch since they converted to a trattoria. Let’s just say, my mouth is drooling over the next plate to try. I have the prosciutto pannini and it was unbelievably delicious. The egglant ricotta was perfect. The ravioli was mouth watering! Dessert and cappuccino was the perfect ending to a lunch. After all that food you don’t feel sick since everything is homemade and fresh. The prices are reasonable for such a quality atmosphere, food, and service! Love this amazing place here in Nutley!

Strange little place, pastry fridge always seems oddly barren. But the people are nice and the coffee is good!

Randomly searched cafe’s near me and found this place. What a great low key cozy spot! Staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed nice cappuccino’s, a pesto, cheese,(prochutto not sure of the spelling lol) hot pressed sandwich and a warm chocolate filled crossant. Definitely will be returning. Great place to sit back and relax, catch up with friends etc.

It is very good. Weather can be an issue, but they handle it very well. I actually lean to a 4.5

Genuinely good food cooked right. The sauces are not overdone, the pasta is not over cooked, this is the only Italian place in the area I enjoy and is actually Italian, not American Italian

Via Veneto is quickly becoming my favorite local Italian restaurant. The pasta dishes are sensational and I highly recommend the rock shrimp appetizer. Parking is a challenge, but it's well worth the effort.

Never a bad meal here! I've been many times now and have brought different family, friends and have reccomended others to go...the consensus is the same...5 stars, Top notch, new favorite place! Warm, cozy and inviting. Can't wait for Spring when the enormous back patio is open for dining! Go see Rocco and feel like you are in Italy! It's Italian Done Right!

Small restaurant, very good food and desserts. If nice weather, the have a lovely outdoor area in the back.

An absolutely amazing experience! The food was exceptional, the ambiance was perfect . I had the brozino for my entree, magnificent ! I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. If you are look for great Italian cuisine this is the restaurant for you ! Thank you Rocco for such an amazing dine in experience.

Authentic Italian experience. Food was delicious, tasted fresh from the garden. The mozzarella was to die for. Everything prepared splendidly, from appetizer to dessert. A local gem in cuisine!The staff was also very warm and welcoming, which is always a bonus.

Decent food, but the server could've been more attentive. It wasn't even busy when we came in and was the only table in the back.

I recently had a birthday party of 30 guests for my daughter’s surprise 30th. The food was amazing and the staff did a great job of accommodating the entire group by tending to our every need and request . A great time was had by all. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a party of two or even a party of 30+!
